Modified Blazer. One of a kind.

Inspired by fantasy warriors as the bastions of chivalry. This modification features a black leather pauldron mounted on a black leather half-back base plate. The pauldron is attached by a buckle and strap and can be swapped out for other blades and blazers pauldrons.

Originally called The Ranger, The Shadow Knight modification is an updated pattern that still draws inspiration from fantasy armour. After a full year spent learning and improving his leathercraft skills the original Ranger modification no longer reflected Elliot’s vision and so an update was required. The Shadow Knight’s inspiration, through The Ranger, is still rooted in the open ended possibilities of Dungeons and Dragons.

Blades and Blazers evolved out of a single garment, Elliot’s Paladin blazer, which features a metal pauldron on the right shoulder (the story of which is on the About page). The Shadow Knight, formally The Ranger, was designed as a lighter leather variant of The Paladin. This means that The Shadow Knight is, at its core, the most original of Blades and Blazers modifications.
